Our guests rarely want the longest possible sightseeing list. They usually choose one memorable boat day, one easy land excursion and one evening out—then keep enough time to enjoy the villa.
First decide what kind of Phuket day you actually want
A good excursion is not simply the one with the most stops. It is the one that fits the group. Families with younger children often prefer one half-day land experience. Friends may want a private speedboat or a late Patong evening. Multi-generation groups usually appreciate a private vehicle and a flexible return time.
We normally start with three questions: how early everyone is willing to leave, how comfortable the group is on a speedboat, and whether the next day should stay free. That prevents the holiday from turning into a sequence of alarms and transfers.
1. A private Phi Phi Islands trip
Phi Phi is one of the most requested sea days: high limestone cliffs, clear Andaman water, snorkelling stops and the famous landscape around Maya Bay. A private boat is especially attractive for families and groups because the pace, stops and time on the water can be adjusted more easily than on a large shared tour.
An early departure usually gives the best chance of a calmer first part of the day, but the final route always depends on sea conditions, national-park rules and the captain’s decision. The villa minivan can take the group from the villa to the confirmed marina and collect everyone after the trip.

2. Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island by private boat
Phang Nga Bay feels different from Phi Phi. The appeal is the landscape of vertical limestone formations, sheltered-looking bays, caves and canoe stops, with Khao Phing Kan widely known as James Bond Island.
Guests often choose this route when they want scenery and photography as much as swimming. A private program can combine the famous island with canoeing and other bay stops, subject to tides, weather and current access rules. Transfer from the villa to the departure pier can again be arranged in the villa minivan.

- Choose Phi Phi for more of an open-sea feeling; choose Phang Nga Bay for limestone landscapes and caves.
3. An ethical elephant sanctuary—not an elephant ride
Many guests ask for an ‘elephant farm’. We recommend turning that request into a carefully chosen sanctuary visit: observation, education and respectful distance rather than riding, tricks or forced bathing.
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, for example, describes its model as observation-only and provides a home for retired working elephants. Whatever venue you consider, check its current program rather than relying on the word ‘sanctuary’ alone. This is an easy private-minivan day and can often be combined with a relaxed lunch or another nearby land stop.

4. Tiger Kingdom: a popular request that deserves an informed choice
Tiger Kingdom in Kathu is another attraction guests regularly ask about because it offers close-up big-cat encounters. It is also a form of captive animal-contact tourism, so people in the same group may feel very differently about it.
We include it because it is genuinely requested, but recommend reading the venue’s current rules, age or height restrictions, safety information and animal-welfare approach before deciding. The villa minivan makes the round trip simple and allows the group to combine Kathu with lunch, shopping or another stop without arranging several taxis.
5. Patong nightlife without worrying about the drive home
For adult groups, a night in Patong—usually around Bangla Road, live music, bars and clubs—remains a classic Phuket request. The most useful luxury is not another venue recommendation; it is having the return journey settled before the first drink.
Arrange the villa minivan, agree on a drop-off point, a pickup location and a realistic return time. Nobody needs to drive, negotiate late-night transport or split the group between cars. Guests who only want to see Patong can have dinner, walk through the nightlife area and return earlier.

6. Lard Yai and Phuket night markets
A night market is one of the easiest ways to mix street food, small purchases and local atmosphere without committing to a full sightseeing day. Lard Yai Walking Street fills Thalang Road in Phuket Old Town on Sunday evenings; its usual published hours are 16:00–22:00, but schedules should still be reconfirmed for the date of your stay.
This is exactly the sort of evening where the villa minivan is useful: the group can be dropped close to the walking area and collected at an agreed point after dinner and shopping. If your stay does not include Sunday, the concierge can suggest whichever market currently fits your dates instead of sending you to an outdated online listing.
7. A flexible land day: Old Phuket Town, Wat Chalong and viewpoints
When the sea is rough or the group wants a slower day, build a private island-road itinerary instead. Old Phuket Town, a temple stop such as Wat Chalong, lunch and one or two southern viewpoints create a varied day without boat schedules.
The advantage of using the villa minivan is flexibility. Stay longer over lunch, skip a stop if children are tired, or move the viewpoint to later light. The team should reconfirm access and road conditions before departure because island attractions can close temporarily.
